Off Broadway Kids Acting offers a 1 hour workshop for participants to learn the fundamentals of acting, specifically in live performance.  Over the course of several classes, participants would have covered the following topics with our acting instructor:

• How to audition for live performance

• Improvisational acting

• Scene-work and staging

• Delivering monologues

On Mini Canvases, participants paint mini backdrops using acrylic pain from Aladdin, Hamilton, and Matilda.  Students keep their painting and new participants receive an Off Broadway Kids apron to wear and keep. 

Participants will learn the following genres of dance found in musical theatre.

• Jazz

• Ballet

• Ballroom,

• and Street/ Hip Hop

All songs will be from well-known musicals.
